 
The idea that gave birth to the band was a musical group
within the genre of metal, wich exalted the love
for our motherland with its lyrics. In this
ideology we find our first
compositions wich resulted in a solid musical
foundation for the band, with aggressive lyrics
directed to the now lost epic of our culture;
songs as A
mis Ancestros, Nutibara, or
Gloria a los caidos, are true exponents
of this stage.
However, with the group's musical evolution, new
ideas in terms of
messages to be transmited were expressed, and so
new shades of the ideology of the band, which
resulted in songs like Angel
and
Libertad,
which are key elements for the subsequent
reinvention of
the project.
Due to the departure of rhythm guitarist
Alejandro and lead singer
Juan Fernando, contributors to the character of
the band until then;
Indomite welcomes Santiago Giraldo into its
lineup as rhythm guitarist and singer, who
brings in his ideas to the restructuring of the
group's image. Because of this, the space
is open for remaining members,
to freely develop their ideas for the group's
philosophy, and the
result is what Indomite is today, a band
that illustrates by its
music and lyrics different perspectives on human
evolution,
ranging from their beliefs and fears to everyday
stories,
trying to prove that there is no struggle bigger
than what life itself
represents for each one, and expects to generate
through these stories
a space for introspection and thoughtful
approach to
existence.
La idea que dio nacimiento a la banda fue la de una agrupación
musical que dentro del género del metal,
exaltara a través de sus letras el amor por la
patria. Dentro de esta ideología se pueden
contar nuestras primeras composiciones que
dejaron como fruto una sólida base musical para
un contenido lirico agresivo y dirigido a la épica
perdida de nuestra tierra; canciones como A
mis ancestros,
Nutibara, o Gloria a los caídos, son fieles exponentes de éste pensamiento.
Sin embargo con la evolución musical del grupo, nuevas ideas
en cuanto a los mensajes a transmitir se
manifestaron, y así surgieron nuevos matices en
el ideario de la banda, que dieron como
resultado composiciones como Ángel
y Libertad, que se mostrarían como piezas
claves para la posterior reinvención del
proyecto.
Debido a la partida del guitarrista rítmico Alejandro y el
vocalista líder Juan Fernando, contribuyentes
al carácter de la banda hasta ese entonces;
Indomite acoge en sus filas a Santiago Giraldo
como guitarrista rítmico y vocalista, quien
aporta en la reestructuración de la imagen de
la agrupación. Gracias a esto, se abre el
espacio para que los miembros que permanecen,
desarrollen libremente sus ideas frente a la
filosofía del grupo teniendo como resultado lo
que es Indomite el día de hoy; una banda que
ilustra a través de su música y sus letras
distintas perspectivas sobre el devenir humano,
abarcando desde sus creencias y miedos hasta sus
historias cotidianas, tratando de demostrar que
no hay lucha mas grande que lo que la vida misma
representa para cada uno, y esperando generar a
través de éstos relatos conexos un espacio
para la introspección y un acercamiento
reflexivo a la existencia misma.
