Ocularis Infernum started it's deed as a raw black metal project with the name "Blood Of Maids". As the time went, by the changes in lineup and ideas in the band, the musical style had changed, in the beginning to more melodic and then darker sound.
In it's time of existance, Ocularis Infernum have won a reward as the best new latvian metal act, release a self-titled EP and share the stage with such bands like Cradle Of Filth, The Exploited, Shining, Impaled Nazarene, Tiamat, Månegarm, Skyforger, Kawir and many more.
Now the band is working on their first full-lenght album and actively doing live performances.
