BORNHOLM (Hungary) .....Black Metal......
The band was founded in March 2000 by three
members: Melkor-drums, Mordran-bass,
Astaroth-guitar. In the summer of 2001 the first
vocalist left, but Peter “Vlad” Bok filled
up the vacancy soon. That year released the
first demo "Awakening Of The Ancient
Ones". Because of personal and musical
differences a month later only two members
stayed in the band. Later came Ferenc Gyöngyösi
and a second guitarist for the shows and in
January 2003 the band started to record the
first album ("On The Way Of The Hunting
Moon") with Vlad and Ferenc. In the summer
of 2004 the first videoclip was made for the
song “Acheron” by a Hungarian film-maker
group. In September 2004 the second guitarist
left the band and the former drummer Melkor
returned. In winter we found a permanent bass
player (Saterion) and a keyboard player
(Immoralist). In 2005 the first album - '...On
the Way Of The Hunting Moon' finally released by
Melancholia Records. In 2006 Melkor left the
band again. 2007 is the year of some other
changes in the band, after a lot of years Vlad
gone and Thorgor arrived as vocalist and Vozargh
arrived as permanent guitarist, and a new
drummer arrived - D - now Bornholm is stronger
than ever. Before the release our second LP
Immoralist and Saterion found new ways and
Hjules arrived from Sin Of Kain as bass player.
In 2008 Astaroth recorded his martial
ambient/neofolk project "INVICTUS"
under the name "Sahsnot". After
releasing the album uses that name in Bornholm
too. In 2009 a new album is coming - "March
For Glory And Revenge" by VIC Records.
