Brutal Death Metal......
Common Grave was founded in spring 1999 and
recorded its first demo “M.D.K.” in 2000.
After a variety of line-up changes the release
of Common Grave’s debut album
“Dehumanized” in 2006 marked a new beginning
for the band. It defined their musical style,
combining the raw power of traditional US death
metal with modern elements and a cutting-edge
sound. “Dehumanized” was recorded and
produced by Stephan Fimmers and Muhammed Suicmez
(both Necrophagist) and released via Twilight
Distribution. Now Common Grave returns with its
second longplayer “Embedded Coding”. And
they are back with a vengeance! Once again
produced by Stephan Fimmers and with guest
appearances by John Gallagher (Dying Fetus) and
Elliot Desgagnes (Beneath the Massacre), the new
album takes Common Grave’s sound to a whole
new level! It completely merges old school vibes
with state-of-the-art brutality: blasts,
breakdowns, grooves and technical death metal
join forces in this catchy and explosive modern
sound. Matured and refined songwriting adds
complexity and melodic elements, but the
nevertheless destined to kill on stage. And this
is what the band is living for!
After playing
support gigs for bands like Necrophagist, Job
For A Cowboy, Immolation, Deadlock or Vomitory,
the band has proven to be a serious
international live act by securing the support
slot for last year’s renowned Summer Slaughter
Canada Tour (Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Beneath
the Massacre, Into Eternity,…). After the
hugely successful tour, Common Grave is
presenting its new album on the German festival
circuit and on the band’s “Bleeding
Scandinavia” tour through Denmark and Sweden.
