EXQUISITE PUS (Spain)

EXQUISITE PUS was formed in 2004 as a "one man band" by Miguel, who recorded all the instruments to give birth to "Delicious Carcass" EP strongly influenced by bands like Carcass, Suffocation, Morbid Angel or Cannibal Corpse. With the release of this sick material EXQUISITE PUS needed more members to take it to the stages properly. That is when Juan Antonio was added as the main vocalist of the band. Later on Pedro inyected his part of brutality that EXQUISITE PUS was lack of with the bass guitar.

A good friend of the band did take part in the recording of the cd playing drums, Adrian from Demised to complete the line-up that recorded the first Split of the band "United in Repulsion" with two more bands from Barcelona: Carrioned and Confined. This Split was released by Neuralgia Records in 2007. After the release we decided that the sound we are looking for would be more sick including a second guitar player in the band. Achokarlos, an excelent guitar player was added to the band multiplying the essence of sickness and making the formation ready to break necks on stage. Finally, the band was completed with the adition of Helios who played with Nahemah, a great drummer with incredible drum skills.

In September 2009 the first full lengh album called "Dead [forgotten]" was released by Xtreem Music. In the following months the band will be touring with bands like Haemorrhage, Avulsed, Mumakil, Natron and many more.

EXQUISITE PUS se formó en 2004 como una "one man band" por Miguel, quien grabó todos los instrumentos para dar a luz el primer EP "Delicious Carcass" influenciado por bandas como Carcass, Suffocation, Morbid Angel o Cannibal corpse. Con el lanzamiento de este material EXQUISITE PUS necesitaba más miembros para llevarlo a los escenarios como es debido. Entonces fue cuando Juan Antonio se unió a la banda como vocalista. Más adelante Pedro inyectó la parte de brutalidad que EXQUISITE PUS necesitaba con su bajo.

Un buen amigo de la banda puso su apoyo y nos ayudó con la batería a grabar lo que sería el split llamado "United in Repulsion" con dos bandas mas de Barcelona: Carrioned y Confined. Este split fue editado por Neuralgia Recods en 2007. Después de este lanzamiento decidimos incluir un segundo guitarrista para darle más intensidad al sonido de la banda. Fue entonces cuando Achokarlos, un excelente y más que conocido guitarrista, comenzó a tocar en las líneas de Exquisite Pus. Con esta formación el grupo esta preparado para partir cuellos en cualquier escenario. Finalmente la banda se completó con la inclusión de Helios, un joven batería con un gran talento que ya quedó patente en su anterior banda Nahemah.

En Septiembre del 2009 fue lanzado el primer álbum de la banda llamado "Dead [forgotten]" por el sello Xtreem Music. Este CD será presentado en diferentes eventos con bandas como Haemorrhage, Avulsed, Mumakil, Natron y muchos más.
